In August 2009, a group of young adults went on the first NACOEJ Young Leadership Mission to Ethiopia and Israel. Sam Bodenheimer, CEO of Spicerack Music and one of the participants on the trip, was concerned about the circumstances in which the Ethiopian children live in both countries. Inspired by what is being done to help them, PROJECT TESFA was born.
