I have chosen the Limudiah program because it provides after school learning for the children enrolled. I believe that by giving these students a strong, early educational foundation it will allow them to meet and even surpass their peers in school. This will help build their self-esteem and allow them to reach their full potential. Importantly, the Limudiah program also provides a good lunch to children in grades 1-4. We all know that young children are able to learn better when they are not hungry as many of these students do not get a nutritious meal at home, if they get any food at all. The Limudiah program provides personal attention to these young children.
Please consider making a donation to help me reach my goal and to ultimately help these children who have made Aliyah to Israel have hope for a brighter future.

My name is Ben Albertson and my Bar Mitzvah was on April 28, 2012. For my Bar Mitzvah Project I have chosen to help Ethiopian-Israeli children that have emigrated to Israel by raising money for the Limudiah programs which provide intensive after school education for these young children.
