As part of our B'nai Mitzvah Project, and inspired by our sister Rosa, who was born in Ethiopia, we are raising funds to help NACOEJ serve the vibrant Ethiopian community in Israel.

We are particularly interested in supporting the NACOEJ Limudiah Program, which helps Ethiopian Israeli elementary school children reach their grade level, and even surpass it, by providing intensive after school education to about 750 children a year.

We are also excited to be twinning with an Ethiopian girl and boy in Israel, Yamit Avraham and Yitzhak Anayau, to help sponsor their B'nai Mitzvah preparations and to hopefully get to know each other through this process.
